My First

Okay. So this is my first real stint in blogging. It's been more than a year since I started this blog, and it's only today that I regained interest in posting. Why all of a sudden? What's the reason behind this?

Not much, i guess. Yesterday, April 18, 2006, I found myself in a jam-packed room (that's two (2) rooms for the record), between two 'retards' - Dino a kick-ass web designer, and Reggie - a slick sports writer whose handicapping prowess dwarfs some of those 'pro' cappers. The event was the 2nd iblog Summit hosted by UP's College of Law. And mind you, it was NOT good... it was awesome. To me, and I guess to a handful of participants who are new to blogging and/or haven't tried that stuff, the event served as a renaissance to one of my childhood passions - writing and can very well open up other opportunities as well - for some people, blogging became a pivotal start of something big!

As for me, I guess I'll use this tool as an avenue to polish my skills (and personality, so to speak), and try to earn new friends - thus generating new insights, ideas and concepts.
I was simply inspired by one of the more energetic speakers - Dean, among other speakers.

To the organizers of iblog2, your efforts have not been in vain. I'm looking forward to future events and more power. Keep 'em coming and rock on!
